Our beautiful grand old English garden is set on four acres featuring a 160 year old oak, elm trees and a wrought iron Gazebo. Our non-denominational heritage listed Chapel contains original hand painted pictures on oak panels of famous people of the era. The Chapel has an exquisite hand carved wood ceiling with original polished timber floor.

The garden set up option includes a red carpet, white garden chairs and a signing table and chairs with a white linen tablecloth. We have multiple areas of the garden to choose from to ensure you get the perfect photo of your special day.

Our Ceremony Only package at Overnewton Castle gives you exclusive use of the grounds from 1.00pm to 3.00pm or other times by arrangement.

Our customized Micro Wedding packages are available Monday through Thursday, accommodating up to 50 guests with a minimum requirement of 30 people, ensuring a beautifully tailored celebration for your special day.

Enjoy exclusive use of the grounds, coupled with canapés & pre- drinks upon arrival. Exclusive venue use, photographs in garden spaces, exquisite canapés upon arrival in Victorian sitting areas paired with pre-dinner drinks followed by two courses and the cake cutting ceremony. With elegant tables set to perfection alongside guest seating easels accompanied by audio equipment – you’re sure to experience simply sophisticated matrimonial bliss.

Photographs in Overnewton Castle Melbourne Grounds are spectacular. Anyone not having a service or reception at Overnewton Castle is welcome to book the grounds and shoot as many photos as they like within the allocated times.

Photo shoots are offered per hour at a cost of $600 for anyone not having a service or reception at Overnewton Castle. This time slot is usually offered strictly between 3-4pm pending other bookings and availability on your requested date.

Bookings can be made from 4 months prior to your booking date with payment required in full to secure the booking. ‘Photos Only’ bookings offer access to over 4 acres of gardens, entry hallway and spiral staircase.
